  • Abi James

My name is Abi and I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago at the age of 30.

Late diagnosis is notoriously difficult to navigate alone as it can cause grief, identity issues and a whole new lens in how you see the world.

Since my diagnosis, I have been on an incredible journey of rediscovering who I am.

Through coaching, I want to help you do the same.

ADHD coaching coupled with making lifestyle changes have been by far the most effective ways of helping me reframe my ADHD diagnosis.

Coaching sessions with me will help you to cultivate self awareness, self compassion and to feel empowered to help yourself.

Each one of my clients is totally unique and our coaching sessions will give you the time and space to learn about who you are, what tools work for you and how to celebrate your strengths and individuality.

  • Angel Newman

With a rich background rooted in psychology and a deeply personal connection to ADHD through my family, I have a passion to empower individuals navigating the complexities of ADHD. I moved from the USA to the UK to obtain a degree BSc in Psychology, which has created a blend of academic knowledge and empathetic understanding to my practice. My journey into ADHD coaching was inspired by my personal experiences with my mother and recently diagnosed husband both of whom live with ADHD. These relationships have not only deepened my compassion but have also equipped me with practical, real-world insights into the challenges and strengths of those with ADHD.

My approach is holistic and person-centered, focusing on strengths rather than limitations. I believe in creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their unique ADHD-related experiences and develop strategies that work for them.

In my practice, I combine evidence-based techniques with innovative, tailored strategies to address the specific needs of each client. Whether it's managing time more effectively, improving organizational skills, or navigating emotional challenges, I am committed to walking alongside my clients every step of the way. My ultimate goal is to empower those with ADHD to lead more organized, productive, and satisfying lives.

  • Anna-M. Weber

Hi, I’m Anna, a bilingual ADHD-Coach from Berlin, Germany. I consider myself a ‘super-late diagnosed ADHDer’, and want to help my clients navigate the difficult yet exciting time pre- and post-diagnosis. To get ‘diagnosed and dumped’ is hard, especially for my fellow women* over 40 – an age group notoriously overlooked in society, and yet, currently the fastest growing group receiving a super-late diagnosis.

My therapist told me I’m an expert in emotions, and I’m not afraid to put that on my business card, too. As you can tell, I’m a German with a sense of humour, and will bring this and my never-ending belief in the good in people to our coaching sessions. I’m also currently training as Systemic- and Neurodivergent Writing Coach, and cannot wait to combine my knowledge of the Executive Functioning Framework with my new learnings, and share it with my clients.

I’m an Ace, childfree, cat-mom of two tabbies, and am passionate about advocating for a non-traditional, more inclusive definition of what a family is. And lastly, I run a regular creative writing group, and am an active member of one of the largest neurodivergent communities in Berlin. Please do come and say Hi!

  • Becca Edwards

Becca is a cyber security recruitment partner by day, ADHD Coach by night! She received her diagnosis of combined ADHD at 31, having spent most of her life feeling as though she was different from most of her peers. It's thanks to her work that Becca connected the dots that she was neurodiverse, and having begun her healing journey, she wants to help other people living with ADHD work WITH their brains, not against them.

With a background in sales and customer service, Becca understands that everyone is different, which should be celebrated, not 'fixed' or 'cured.' Her community work involves public speaking across the South West, both for Women in Tech and Cyber (WiTCH), Bristol and Bath Cyber, and techSpark. She advocates for better hiring strategies within the cyber security space, particularly for the neurodiverse community, and works with clients in her day job to improve their retention of their neurodiverse workforce.

Becca wants to support those with ADHD to be their best selves, without compromising their wonderful brains in the process, or making them feel as though they're a square peg being forced into a round hole.

In her spare time, Becca can be found participating in vegan and human rights activism, baking, or writing. She's a published short story writer, really leaning into the creative side of her brain!

  • Jeni Dobson

I’m Jen and I became an ADHD coach to help all ADHDers, but in particular parents, especially Mum’s who have ADHD.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in my early 30’s after the Jenga Tower that was my life came tumbling down when I added one more ‘block’ - motherhood. Parenthood is, as we’re always told, THE hardest job in the world but when a parent (or both) has ADHD it’s like you get put in a bubble of treacle too!.

I spent my 20’s in Veterinary Practice as a Nurse and then after burning out, retrained as a Complementary Therapist. I truly believe that a holistic approach to wellbeing is paramount to a happy, balanced life – hence adding coaching to my skill set. I currently work from my home in West Yorkshire which I share with my husband, 2 kids, 2 dogs, 4 chickens, 1 snake and our elderly cat who definitely rules the roost! I love reading, binge watching tv series and occasionally going for a run with our Border Collie. I don’t like cleaning, supermarkets or flimsy carrier bags!

  • Meryl Bengtsson

Having spent a lifetime of feeling like on the ‘outside, looking in’, receiving a late diagnosis of ADHD, validated how I felt, but more importantly gave me a sense of direction and purpose. Not only for myself, but also how I could use my lived and professional experience to support others who have ADHD.

I am a livelong learner and believe passionately that knowledge leads to understanding, self-awareness, acceptance, and growth. I have seen and heard first-hand how people have been diagnosed with ADHD with no follow up – it can be a confusing time for someone.

I also have a strong and keen interest in supporting busy professionals and executives who might be extremely successful but internally in turmoil due to the constant need to mask their symptoms. Using the Executive Functioning framework can quieten the inner turmoil whilst also providing a sense of purpose and direction to their daily work and personal life.

Whatever your personal situation is, I can provide coaching which will support and guide you through life so that you feel in a position of strength to meet challenges that you might face.

We've developed a framework that specifically addresses executive functioning skills delayed by 30% - like self-awareness and emotional regulation.

We'll also provide you with handy exercises and strategies that’ll make these skills feel like second nature.

  • Centred around you

Everyone has different goals. That's why our coaching approach is tailored to your specific needs.

One of the tools we’ll teach you is how to “name it to tame it.” For instance, by recognising how Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria crops up in your life, we can develop strategies to help you overcome its challenges.

  • Inclusive and judgement-free

When it comes to coaching, it's not just about receiving advice or following a set of instructions. It's about connecting with someone who gets you and your unique experiences.

That's why our coaches have lived experience with ADHD. They understand what you're going through - and they can offer insights and support.

ADHD Works’ Coaching: FAQs

What is the ADHD Works’ Coaching method?

The ADHD Works Executive Functioning Coaching Method™️ is a neuroscience-based framework. It’s designed to strengthen executive functioning skills delayed by 30%. We have weekly coaching sessions, and you’ll be provided with handy exercises (for you to complete at your own pace).

What if I have issues with my ADHD Coach?

We have oversight of each of our coaches at ADHD Works. If you encounter any issues, please reach out to us directly at hello@adhdworks.info - we'll be happy to help.

Are you accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF)?

No. We believe that traditional coaching standards don’t always work for neurodivergent individuals. So, our coaching approach is tailored with an ADHD-lens - focusing on each individual’s goals.

Unlike many ICF-accredited coaching companies, we don’t expect you to set the agenda. Plus, our coaches can use their lived experience to understand what you're going through.

How up-to-date is this list?

Each coach has completed their certification within the past year. We update this list after each certification, to ensure ongoing learning and skill development.
