The ADHD Ideas

Retreat

Harness your ADHD strengths, find your cheerleader community & turn your ideas into reality with ADHD Works Founder & Author of ADHD: an A to Z, Leanne Maskell.

Does this resonate with you?

👉 being overwhelmed with your own ideas and wanting to do them ALL
👉 having no time to finish the ideas you’ve started
👉 knowing you have ADHD, but not knowing what to do with it
👉 ruminating on your ‘niche' and how to do everything at once
👉 Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria at the thought of 'putting yourself out there'
👉 doing more & more in an attempt to do less
👉 ruminating on the perfect passive income stream or career
👉 self-sabotaging & struggling to trust yourself or your ideas
👉 getting stuck in hyper-focus vortexes
👉 procrastinating in ADHD paralysis over where to start?

Yes?
Then this is the sign you’ve been waiting for.

Turn your ideas into reality, get out of your own way, and unlock your ADHD potential in this one of a kind ADHD ideas incubation retreat.

We’ll be harnessing your unique ADHD strengths and ideas to beat imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and paralysis - it’s now or not now.

The world needs your ideas!

  • Monday 26th August - Friday 30th August 2024.

Kick off the week with your new fellow ideas-machine brains community. You can arrive from Monday at 4pm onwards, checking out on Friday at 10am.

  • We’ll be in the ultimate ADHD dream location - a converted pub in Devon, complete with a ‘river of ideas’, cinema, and hot tub!

The nearest train station is Exeter St Davids, or there’s plenty of room for parking.

    Take a virtual tour here.

  • This retreat is for anyone aged 18+ who has ADHD (self-diagnosis welcome)! Expect an inspirational community who’ll become life-long friends.

There’ll be a group of approximately 10 people, along with your retreat hosts and a chef to keep everyone well fed.

  • This retreat is £1250 for a shared bedroom, and £2250 for your own.

This covers everything you’ll need, including accommodation, activities, and food. You’ll be able to switch off from ‘adulting’ by being looked after, with your own private chef to meet your dietary needs.

If you’re ready to invest in your ideas and yourself, this is the place for you.

  • There’ll be an itinerary of ADHD-friendly fun!

This will include group coaching sessions based on ADHD strengths, time in nature, ADHD-friendly yoga (Leanne’s a trained yoga teacher!), creative activities (especially for those who don’t identify as creative), and time to switch off.

  • ANYTHING! This is a place for all of your squiggly ideas - including starting businesses, writing books, creating courses, doing talks, taking up tap dancing, running retreats, travelling, becoming a coach, professional plate spinning - anything you can think of is welcome here.

Equally, if you have NO ideas, then this is place for you to find some inspiration and get clear!

  • Just like coaching, you’ll get out what you put into this retreat. If you’re ready to turn your ideas into reality, we’ll help you to filter them down into a plan that works for you, with the opportunity to try out your ideas on your fellow retreat attendees.

You’ll get personalised feedback and support in a community of like-minded people, with the confidence to see that anything is possible! We’ll also share strategies to work with your ADHD strengths.

Expect to leave with clarity, feeling empowered to take action on your ideas - and a whole group of new lifelong friends!

Here’s your ADHD Ideas Retreat agenda:

Monday: CONNECT

Unplug from your responsibilities, and connect with others just like you.

Arrive after 4pm, settle in, & switch off from the outside world. Leave behind the neurotypical standards and enter our world of ideas, where anything is possible.

You’ll be in a safe, authentic space where you can unmask and get to know your fellow retreat attendees - and your most authentic self!

Tuesday: CURIOSITY

Connect your squiggly dots - there’s no such thing as ‘too much’ here!

On Tuesday, we’ll be working on the concept of the ‘river of ideas’ - holding the space that all of your brilliant ideas deserve.

You’ll be exploring your potential and rediscovering your joy in a day dedicated to harnessing the curiosity of your uniquely innovative brain.

Thursday: COURAGE

Maintain motivation with self-compassion to re-enter the ‘real world’.

Thursday is all about implementation, and the concept of ‘done is better than perfect’, taking action to commit to making your ideas happen in the outside world.

You’ll be pushed out of your comfort zone and face your saboteurs to create ADHD-friendly systems and accountability. Leap and the net shall appear!

Wednesday: CREATIVITY

Beat Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria to ‘do what you know’!

On Wednesday, we’ll be looking at the concept of turning ‘marathons into sprints’ - you can do anything, just not all at the same time!

You’ll be supported to filter down your ideas into a plan that makes sense for you, sharing them with your fellow retreat attendees to turn them into reality and harnessing your hyper-focus.

Friday: COMPASSION

Maintain motivation with self-compassion to re-enter the ‘real world’.

On Friday morning, you’ll finish the retreat with self-compassion strategies to avoid burnout and cement your learnings for the future.

You’ll leave with life-long friends who ‘get’ you, confidence in yourself, and the ability to harness your ADHD strengths, recognising the value that you bring to the world and knowing how to put it into practice.

When I was diagnosed 6 months ago, the last thing I expected was to go on an ADHD retreat. In contrast to my diagnosis, I’m now walking away with a new love and understanding for my ‘disorder’, and confidence in harnessing my endless creativity.”
